Lead Teacher

About This Role

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Roswell, GA is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher to work with Mixed / All Ages in a center-based environment. This position requires an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

What You'll Do

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Lead a classroom of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress and development, providing individual support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Participate in regular professional development and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Chroma Early Learning Academy policies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about working with children and helping them succeed.
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability To Pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Reliable Transportation.

Nice to Have

• Childcare Experience.
• ECE Credentials/Certifications.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
