What You'll Do

• Establish a nurturing classroom environment that fosters children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all children.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with staff to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Provide daily care and supervision to children, including personal hygiene and snack/lunchtime routines.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience caring for children
• Vermont Early Childhood career ladder Level three
• At least 20 years old
• Associate degree in related field (early childhood, human services, etc.)
• 21 college credits in related field and 12 months experience
