Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities and routines
- Support child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Communicate positively and professionally with families
- Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Model reliability, empathy, and professionalism
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with toddlers/twos (strongly preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely handle toddlers/twos care routines
- Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic
- Warm, nurturing, and patient approach with children and families
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Human Development, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in an early childhood program or preschool setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development, responsive caregiving, and potty training skills (preferred)
