Responsibilities

  • Drive Clinical Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end candidate lifecycle for vital healthcare providers, including nursing staff, allied health professionals, laboratory teams, imaging technicians, and specialized clinical providers.
  • Modernize Hiring & Tech: Identify and implement top-tier clinical assessment tools and modern HR technologies to optimize recruiting efficiency and elevate patient-care placement quality.
  • Champion Employer Brand: Partner with our marketing team to build compelling recruitment campaigns that showcase our clinical culture, values, and the meaningful impact of health services in our community.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Work side-by-side with clinical directors and department heads to forecast talent gaps, build resilient pipelines for high-demand roles, and align short-term staffing with long-term strategic care goals.
  • Enable Clinical Leaders: Coach, train, and deliver constructive feedback to medical and clinical managers on healthcare compliance, objective interviewing, and modern assessment frameworks.
  • Optimize Care Delivery Metrics: Analyze recruitment data—including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and cost-per-hire—to eliminate manual bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and accelerate onboarding.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required, with preference to a strong, proven background directly within healthcare staffing, clinical talent acquisition, or hospital systems.
  • Credentials: Active SHRM certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) or an accredited recruiter credential (such as a SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strategic Versatility: Ability to seamlessly pivot between hands-on, high-volume day-to-day clinical recruitment and high-level, long-term workforce planning.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in leveraging modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment automation tools to eliminate manual administrative tasks.
  • Functional Leadership: Exceptional communication skills to mentor peer recruiters, guide external search firms, and build deep trust with healthcare executives without needing direct supervisory authority.

Pay

Compensation is competitive and scales based on years of clinical recruitment experience and advanced credentials.

Schedule

Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.
