LEAD SURVEILLANCE AGENT

About the role

To protect the assets of Cactus Pete's Casinos and Hotels. Direct the day-to-day operation of an assigned shift and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct assigned shift operations and ensure activities and job duties are being performed
• Maintain knowledge of all departmental policies and procedures, internal controls, and all parts of the Nevada Gaming Commission (NGC) Controls; report any deviations to the director
• Coordinate team member schedules, breaks, and PTO to ensure staffing complies with NGC regulations
• Advise on agents' performance, activities, and development to the Manager
• Keep Manager informed of all pertinent information regarding the Surveillance Department
• Provide assigned shift on-the-job training and conduct training classes as required
• Perform all duties required of Surveillance Agents

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year experience in the gaming industry preferred
• Knowledgeable of all table games dealing procedures
• Working knowledge of video equipment and ability to operate the equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Professional and investigative attitude
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work effectively with independence and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain visual focus on various monitors for extended periods
• Must possess basic computer knowledge (including Microsoft Office)

Pay

Starting salary: $21.00 per hour
