Lead Surgical Veterinary Technician

Park City Animal Clinic is seeking a Lead Surgery Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced veterinary technicians who are passionate about surgery and ready to take the next step in their career by providing leadership within a supportive environment!

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to our surgical team while performing advanced surgical technician responsibilities, including preparing surgical patients, assisting in a variety of procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring proper instrument handling.
• Leadership responsibilities will include delegating daily tasks to optimize surgical workflow, maintaining safety and medical standards, mentoring and training team members, and fostering a collaborative and positive culture within the surgery department.

Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Working with a team
• Assisting with surgery prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Client Communication and education

Skills

• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• High emotional intelligence
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.
