About the role
The Lead Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality work
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to address issues and resolve conflicts
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction projects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Construction management software proficiency
- Project management tools such as Gantt charts and task lists
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
