Lead Solution Manager (Platform Product Manager) - Parametric

About the role

The Lead Solution Manager is responsible for producing a Solution Vision and Solution Intent, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to shape the future of market data solutions at Parametric. Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with partners, designing workshops, analyzing data, drawing out goals and workflows, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with technology and business partners
• Create workshops and user sessions
• Analyze data and apply design thinking
• Draw out solution intent with capability roadmap and milestones
• Facilitate solution architecture
• Socialize decisions with senior executives
• Manage dependencies and sequencing of development
• Collaborate with project managers, QAs, and development teams
• Collaborate with business and operations stakeholders
• Facilitate user research, operating model, and architecture sessions
• Define requirements for successful execution
• Manage stakeholder relationships
• Own and deliver requirements on canonical data definitions, API contracts, event-based integrations, and non-functional requirements
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams
• Provide consultation and ensure continuity with product and development teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance/Asset Management, Strategy, Product Management
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial data products/investment platforms/wealth tech/portfolio construction/trading
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading and directing others to achieve measurable results
• Demonstrated ability to articulate solution or product vision and/or customized solutions to meet business objectives
• Advanced experience working with Scaled Agile software development processes
• Advanced skills using various tools for documenting workflows and data mapping
• Understanding of analysis and artifact goals throughout the solution lifecycle
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a highly dynamic and changing environment
• Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to successfully manage and coordinate multiple simultaneous project deliverables
