Lead Solution Architect
About the role
Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about how technology can solve real business problems, the pre-sales Lead Solution Architect role combines technical knowledge with customer obsession and a desire to solve problems. You will work in lockstep with the sales team by owning the “how” of the solutions while being comfortable speaking to the “why.” Confident communication and the ability to distill complex problems into accessible information are key. You thrive in an environment where you help define the go-to-market strategy for Optimizely’s AI product and story, are willing to try new ways of presenting solutions, and always link everything back to “why” the customer should care.
Responsibilities
- Work is self-generated and self-directed based on manager-approved goals.
- Project scopes are more strategic in nature.
- Use excellent discovery techniques to understand customer pains/desires and lead the customer toward a solution through storytelling and demonstration.
- Understand the Optimizely AI platform and adjacent capabilities of our go-to-market motion.
Requirements
- Keen learner with mastery of the Marketing Technology category or an adjacent category (e.g., presales experience in DXP, Experimentation, Data, AI, etc.).
- Shows expertise in a specific feature, process, or program within the function.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and ability to learn quickly.
Qualifications
- Master’s of Science or Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Computer Science background preferred.
Pay
Total target compensation range: $175,000–$298,000. Optimizely considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
