Lead the frontend architecture for a mission-critical platform utilized by major airlines and the Department of Defense to improve global aviation safety.

Solve complex technical challenges involving real-time geospatial data, live video streaming, and large-scale data visualization for mission-critical flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect React-based frontend systems capable of processing and visualizing large-scale, real-time, and historical aviation datasets.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and UX designers to build reusable component libraries and optimize performance for high-stakes, responsive web applications.
• Mentor team members through rigorous code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold high technical standards across the frontend organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building high-performance web applications with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern state management patterns.
• Proven track record of taking technical ownership of complex product areas and delivering scalable frontend solutions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous data patterns, live streaming technologies, or geospatial visualization tools like Mapbox or Cesium is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Redux, MobX, or similar.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
