Lead Snowflake Administrator

About the role

You'll be the technical heartbeat of our Snowflake data platform. This is a lead role where your decisions shape architecture, your expertise drives cost optimization, and your leadership sets the standard for the entire data team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage our enterprise Snowflake environment end-to-end
• Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning
• Design and implement rock-solid security frameworks using RBAC and secure data sharing
• Partner with engineers, architects, and business analysts to solve real problems
• Automate everything you can — Python, SQL, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/TerraGrunt)
• Be the go-to expert on Snowflake features: CortexAI, Streamlit, Cloning, Data Sharing, and more
• Provide 24×7 on-call operational support — because uptime matters

Requirements

• 5+ years of Snowflake Platform Administration in an enterprise environment
• 2+ years of DevOps experience with IaC tools (Terraform, TerraGrunt, Atlantis)
• Deep expertise in RBAC, resource monitors, and cost optimization
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL/Scheduler tools
• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments
• A mindset that's bold, decisive, and always pushing toward better

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Kafka-based data pipelines and Kafka infrastructure
• Familiarity with Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams
