About the role
The Ski and Ride School Lead position is responsible for supporting daily activities and operations of the Ski & Ride School. The Lead will manage daily set up and tear down, assign lessons, launch programs, provide lunch service, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for child students. The role includes maintaining the image, appearance, and functionality of indoor facilities and outdoor teaching areas, performing indoor activities with small children, and on-hill assistance with ski school classes. The Lead will also support operational teams, management, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the quality of the Ski and Ride School facilities, support lessons, and ensure smooth operations
- Manage snack, lunch, and other indoor activities
- Oversee the Cozy Corner for children working through separation anxiety and those being checked-out early
- Facilitate appropriate games and activities with small children in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Assist with ski school classes and lead indoor activities
- Work with all Ski & Ride School Management to support and achieve Guest Experience targets
- Understand, lead, and model safety standards and the safety business plan for Ski and Ride
- Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, and other departments to create an environment of support and trust
- Understand, lead, and model the Company’s mission, vision, and values
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Previous experience working with children
- Previous leadership experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate level
- Able to work in and build cross-functional teams
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
- Teaching experience (ski and ride school or equivalent)
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Required to work as needed, including holidays, weekends, and some evenings
Pay
Starting wage: $23.00/hr
Schedule
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
