Lead Simulation Engineer

About the role

The Lead Simulation Engineer will oversee the development and implementation of advanced simulation models to support product design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of complex simulation models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
• Perform simulations to validate product performance under various conditions
• Develop and maintain documentation for simulation processes and results
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in simulation engineering
• Proficiency in industry-standard simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-physics simulation techniques
• Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Good knowledge of project management methodologies

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
