Job Description

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Account Services Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a set of customers in heavy industry. This role involves building strong relationships through site visits, understanding customer needs, and assisting them in achieving long-term success. The responsibilities include managing service orders, resolving customer issues, and ensuring all work is completed on time and to the highest standards.

  • Engage and follow up with customers to secure services projects and achieve growth objectives.
  • Act as the customer's single point of contact and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Parts, Services, Projects) to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with customer personnel (Operations, Engineering, Training, and Purchasing) to resolve product issues, enhance plant availability, and optimize purchased services such as parts, field service, upgrades, and other offerings.
  • Develop long-term plans for customer success by gaining insights into the customer's organization, assets, potential downtime losses, and installed base.
  • Ensure warranty and service obligations are fulfilled, including timely delivery, high-quality work, compliance with contract scope, and profitability of service orders.
  • Perform customer site visits and conduct routine calls to foster business relationships and upsell additional services.
  • Share lessons learned to improve standardization and efficiency across the team.
  • Be responsible for all financial metrics related to services and parts supplied to customers.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy industry environments with customer interaction

Eligibility Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in a customer-facing Service Delivery or Project Management role within a Service environment
  • Proven industry experience, particularly in power generation, metals, mining, and plastics processes
  • Strong track record of maintaining long-term client relationships, delivering service offerings, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail in financial tracking and reporting of services
  • Ownership and accountability mindset that drives customer solutions and service profitability
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adjust activities to meet business needs and department goals
  • Quick learner and willingness to adapt to departmental policies, procedures, and practices

    The pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; access to health coaching; and the Employee Assistance Program.
