Responsibilities
- Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on property
- Performs “make-ready” process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins
- Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the maintenance department
- Completes documentation and paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing, performing general cleaning, and painting
- Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment
Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and on-call
- Ability to promote a positive image of the apartment community and management company
Qualifications
- One year of apartment maintenance technical/other training
- Valid Driver’s License
- AC Certification I and II
- EPA Certification
