Lead Senior Food Service Attendant - Cafeteria
About the role
Responsible for leading the daily operations of the department, including schedule adjustments and monitoring activities to verify compliance with established policies and standards. Provides leadership and direction to staff in coordination with and in the absence of a supervisor's presence. Assumes role of "person in charge" when required, in accordance with Washington State Food Code. Delegates daily duties to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Assists with orienting and training staff, disseminating information, and running shift meetings and huddles as assigned. Serves as a communication liaison between the management team, caregivers, and other departments. Cross-trains in each nutrition position to assure competence and support in emergent situations, ensuring a full understanding of the expectations of each role. Some leads may work a staff position in conjunction with supporting operations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- National Food Handler Card (State/County/City Authority) upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of institutional, restaurant, hotel, or healthcare food service experience.
- 1 year of leadership experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $29.68 - $41.08 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
