About the role

As a Lead Semiconductor Technician at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a key player in producing high-quality semiconductor products. You will assist in developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting processes in photolithography, wet chemical processing, dry etch, inspection, deposition, and metrology tools used in MEMS and microelectronic device fabrication. You will ensure safe and efficient operations in your area, set up and monitor production, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and quality. You will report directly to our Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and work out of our Plymouth, MN facility on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, safety, and quality of semiconductor manufacturing processes, contributing to the production of high-performance products that meet stringent industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and change over production equipment.
  • Interface with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Support new equipment integration activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Record, analyze, and report on key production data.
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools.
  • Escalate and manage production issues to drive team involvement.
  • Comply with all safety expectations.

Requirements

You must have:

  • High School Diploma
  • U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations

  • Significant MEMS fabrication or cleanroom experience

  • Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $96,000.00 in Plymouth, MN. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
