Lead Security Technician – Walnut Creek, CA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will take on advanced installation and maintenance work, focusing on security cameras, access control systems, networks, and burglar alarms. You may also work on other wiring projects, including cable installation, fiber optic cabling, and Cat 5 wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain security systems, access control, and networking equipment with precision.
• Coordinate directly with clients to ensure smooth installations and address service needs.
• Respond to repair calls, diagnose technical issues, and implement solutions.
• Read and follow blueprints to ensure accurate component and wiring installation.
• Test all systems for functionality and provide clients with clear instructions on operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Technician certification.
• Low Voltage and cabling experience (1 year).
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
