Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Runs project crews and assumes responsibility for effective performance.
- Provides necessary training and holds weekly safety meetings.
- Assumes responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines.
- Initiates performance-related communications and escalates to Security Systems Project Manager if necessary.
- Covers productivity, job completion, and compliance with project budget.
- Fully completes all IES COMMERCIAL and project paperwork accurately and on time.
- Serves as the main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns.
- Attends facility and construction meetings when required.
- Completes work demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV, and intrusion systems.
- Trains and leads teams up to 10 technicians.
- Reads, comprehends, and understands Security, Architectural, and construction drawings.

Tools
- Basic Hand Tools: screwdriver - all sizes (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (adjustable, needle nose, lineman), hammer, cable stripper, insulated crimping tool, flashlight and gloves.
- Multimeter, butt-set, toner/wand, coax compression and/or hex crimp tool.
Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in security systems installation.
- Minimum of twelve (12) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
- Proficient with the listed tools.
- Proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
- Knowledge of universal communications color codes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Meets Company minimum driving standards.
