Lead Safety & Security Officer
Job Summary
Counsels key control audits, monitors electronic key boxes, issues/receives master keys, radios, and beepers; ensures the safekeeping of these items. Patrols all areas of the property; assists guests with room access. Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. Responds to accidents, contacts EMS or administers first aid/CPR as required. Assists guests/associates during emergency situations. Diffuses guest/associate disturbances. Calls for outside assistance if necessary. Completes incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents. Resolves safety hazard situations. Escorts unwelcome persons from the property. Reports to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Calls for assistance using proper code responses. Completes a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.
Core Work Activities
- Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; completes safety training and certifications.
- Follows all company policies and procedures, maintains uniform and personal appearance, protects company assets, and maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other associates.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Hourly Rate: $22.30
Schedule
Shift: 1st/2nd & 3rd
Must be available weekends and holidays
