Lead RRT - NICU

About the Role

Collaborate with the Respiratory Therapy team and Neonatologists to ensure high-quality care in the NICU. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, monitoring clinical practice, and serving as a role model to promote a collaborative environment. Provide neonatal respiratory care adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in various units including ICU, medical/surgical floors, and NICU
• Operate advanced respiratory equipment
• Assist with bronchoscopy
• May cross-train in EEGs, PFTs, and NICU care
• Participate in conferences and professional development

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level III NICU
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional in Georgia
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
• Certifications in NRP, BCLS, and PALS
