Lead Restoration Technician

About the role

Paul Davis Restoration is a franchise organization that provides services to cleanup and repair damage to residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm, or other disasters. Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 7:15am to 4:30pm, Optional Overtime included. Participate in our 24 hours on call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 60 lbs

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead Crews with onsite responsibilities
• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal
• Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation, utilizing MICA and other proprietary software
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss
• Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration
• Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered
• Participate in our 24-hour call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule
• Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in insurance restoration
• IICRC certifications preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, transportation to work, and a clean driving record
• Previous experience in construction or remodeling is a bonus
• Must pass background check and drug test

Compensation

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
