Lead Residential HVAC Technician

About the role

The Lead Residential HVAC Technician is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and repair of HVAC systems in residential homes
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues and provide service recommendations
• Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in HVAC preferred

Skills

• Proficient in HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledgeable in local building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
