Residential Lead HVAC Installation Technician
About the role
Lanz Heating & Cooling, Inc. in Champaign, IL is hiring a full-time Residential Lead HVAC Installation Technician to lead a team of installers in installing residential HVAC systems. This role requires the ability to train and motivate others, run and work a job from start to finish, and maintain professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
- Understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting, and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Flexibility to work a staggered schedule if required
- Ability to effectively train and supervise other installers
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to professionally handle complaints
- Hard worker who is motivated to improve
- Ability to excel independently and in a team environment
- Attentive to safety
- Neat, clean appearance
