About the role
The Lead Personal Care Aide serves in a leadership role under the direction of the Resident Care Supervisor or Operations Supervisor. This role involves completing all required documentation, ensuring appropriate care and medication administration, problem-solving, and communicating with the next shift’s staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in activities of daily living and perform other personal care tasks.
- Ensure all care and medications are administered appropriately.
- Solve problems and communicate effectively with staff.
- Work collaboratively with other Aides to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months of Medication administration experience. 1 year preferred.
- Coursework/Training and Completion of approved medication administration training.
