About the role

The Lead Researcher will provide expert-level research support to the Office of Criminal Justice. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive research projects, analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts in-depth research on behavioral health issues related to criminal justice
  • Develops and implements research methodologies and surveys
  • Analyzes data using statistical software and reports findings
  • Presents research results to stakeholders including policymakers, community leaders, and other relevant parties
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of research trends and best practices in behavioral health and criminal justice

Requirements

  • PhD in Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in research or policy analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations and communities
  • Knowledge of federal and state criminal justice policies and procedures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Skills

  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$68,213.00 – $140,000.00 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
