Lead Repair Technician (1st Shift)

We are currently looking for a Lead Repair Technician to join our team on 1st Shift in our Repair Depot.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assisting the Technical Supervisor in planning and communicating work assignments
• Performing repairs on all product categories independently following written work instructions
• Provides technical guidance to lower level technicians and other departments
• Aids Technicians in meeting performance and safety goals
• Assists with product evaluations
• Provides direction to other Repair Depot staff in support of the repair operations
• Communicates issues to the technical management team
• Inspects a unit’s condition to determine repairable or non-repairable damage
• Follows written procedures to determine unit performance
• Performs complex repair on units and firmware upgrades
• Performs final testing to confirm repair results
• Accesses and uses diagnostic programs
• Performs assigned work while maintaining efficiency and quality standards
• Performs electronic and/or mechanical adjustments using specialized test equipment
• Performs training for other employees
• Creates and validates test and repair procedures
• Reviews and approves parts replacement and unit status
• Performs data entry tasks using available reporting systems
• Tracks and reports production and labor information

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Pay

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $25.00 and $31.00/hr. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
