About the role
The Neurological Rehabilitation department at Hope Network provides a supportive residential setting for patients recovering from brain or spinal cord injuries. As a Lead Rehabilitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' recovery goals by fostering a positive, therapeutic environment through person-centered care.
Responsibilities
Aids in creating schedules for both staff and resident's needs.
Serves as a mentor to newly hired staff members.
Supports in the documentation of various business purposes.
Maintains safety 24/7 through monitoring and ensuring safety measures are in place.
Prevents, intervenes, and resolves crises.
Builds collaborative relationships based on trust and empathy.
Helps clients develop skills for problem-solving, communication, and independence.
Assists clients in participating in social and leisure activities.
Supports clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Monitors and promotes positive behavior.
Attends and documents medical appointments.
Manages client medication needs.
Connects clients with community opportunities and supports their interests.
Requirements
Two-year degree or minimum 2 years’ equivalent work experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to obtain and maintain certification in CPR/First Aid.
Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations.
Basic computer skills.
