Job Overview
The Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for providing direct and indirect rehabilitation services to participants. These services are provided through individualized and/or group activities for participants.
Division/Program Overview
MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services. The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility. Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team. The team supports individuals in developing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field is required.
- Master’s degree in a social science field preferred.
- License or Certification: Occupational Therapist (OT), Music Therapist, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist or Recreation Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.
