Lead Recovery Coach

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Transports patients to and from facility safely and in a timely manner, using a provided vehicle.
• Maintains patient safety during the program day, intervening with recovery-focused directives as needed.
• Monitors and facilitates daily meals and snacks, including meal planning and group sessions.
• Maintains patient safety during bathroom activities and breaks, conducting safety checks as necessary.
• Facilitates and monitors patient safety during overnight shifts, including safety checks and outings.
• Documents all interactions, communications, behaviors, and interventions in daily reports and logs.
• Participates in and monitors weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings for personal and professional growth.
• Collaborates with the Program Manager to ensure information from meetings is relayed to recovery coaches.
• Trains and supports recovery coaches at hire and ongoing, facilitating monthly meetings.
• Adheres to and follows Monte Nido & Affiliates policies and procedures.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers, and others, maintaining confidentiality.
• Recommends quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Available for on-call duties as needed.
• May be required to stay onsite during emergencies or declared states of emergency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelors degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in a health-related field is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• CPR certification required, or within 90 days of hire.
