Lead Recovery Coach

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Transports patients to and from facility safely and in a timely manner, using a provided vehicle.
• Maintains a clean driving record and background check.
• Monitors patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) during the program day and intervenes with recovery-focused directives when appropriate.
• Participates in and monitors daily meals and snacks with patients, including meal preparation.
• Facilitates Meal Pre-Planning and Meal Process Groups.
• Maintains bathroom activities and break times during the day.
• Makes 15 to 30-minute safety checks throughout the night shift.
• Facilitates and monitors patient safety in daily and weekly outings for meals as well as group activities.
• Documents all information, interactions, communications, behaviors, and interventions in daily reports and patient meal logs in a timely manner.
• Attends and participates in weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings to foster personal and professional growth and build cohesion among the treatment team.
• Collaborates with the Program Manager to ensure information from staff meetings is relayed to recovery coaches.
• Handles scheduling of Recovery Coaches and secures coverage or provides coverage in the event of a call-off or void.
• Trains and supports Recovery Coaches at hire and ongoing.
• Facilitates monthly Recovery Coach meetings with the Program Manager.
• Adheres to and follows Monte Nido & Affiliates policies and procedures.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers, and others, maintaining confidentiality of patient records and communications.
• Supports the values and philosophy of the mission statement of Monte Nido & Affiliates.
• Recommends quality and/or process improvement initiatives to enhance job performance.
• Available for On-Call as needed and picks up voids/call-offs.
• May be required to stay onsite during emergencies or declared states of emergency until the end of the emergency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in a health-related field is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• CPR certification required, or within 90 days of hire.
