Lead Rail Fabricator
The Opportunity
You will serve as the primary leader in the rail fabrication department, overseeing the layout and creation of custom stair and railing systems. This role empowers you to mentor a dedicated crew while upholding the reputation of a prestigious third-generation family business. You will bridge the gap between complex blueprints and high-quality finished products in a state-of-the-art shop environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in metal fabrication for stair and rail systems.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a high-volume fabrication shop.
- Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Expertise in MIG and TIG welding, metal assembly, and finishing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills necessary for managing team dynamics and shop logistics.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in training and developing team members in a shop environment.
- Advanced knowledge of miscellaneous metal projects beyond standard railing.
- A portfolio reflecting high-level craftsmanship and attention to detail in previous roles.
