About the role

Responsible to assist the manager with operational oversight, quality improvement, operational flow, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices.

Affords guidance to staff, schedules staff, performs triage duties, and serves as a resource to staff.

Oversees the coordination of clinical activities for students to ensure they are meeting core curriculum requirements.

Ensures high-quality radiographs are submitted by technologists to ensure optimal diagnostic information is available to radiologists for accurate and complete patient diagnosis.

Demonstrates positive customer service focus by delivering exemplary personal patient contact while executing radiology clinical duties.

Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, managers, and Radiologists.

Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation.

Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.

Requirements

Education: Radiography Required or Associate's Degree Radiography Preferred.

Licenses and Credentials: Radiologic Technologist [State License] - required Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.

Experience: Radiologic Technologist experience with multiple patient populations 2-3 years required.
