Lead Quality & Growth Operations Specialist
Remote · Full-time · Central Time overlap required
About the role
We sell leads and the software that works them. Our clients' entire experience of us comes down to one question: are the leads any good, and does the system deliver them properly? This role owns the answer to that question. You'll live in the backend — watching fulfillment daily, catching quality drift before a client does, and shipping the fixes yourself. Some days that's a media buying change. Some days it's a query and a hard conversation about what the data actually says. Some days it's building the integration that stops a problem from recurring.
We don't care what industry you came from. We care whether you can read a set of numbers, form a real hypothesis, test it, and build the thing that fixes it.
Responsibilities
- Own lead quality as a measured number, not a vibe. Define it, instrument it, watch it daily, and be the person who notices it moving before anyone else does.
- Diagnose across the full funnel. When close rate drops, figure out whether it's the creative, the audience, the offer, the routing, the speed-to-lead, or the client's own sales process — and prove which.
- Buy media against quality, not volume. Optimize toward downstream outcomes, not cheap CPLs that fall apart at the close.
- Build and maintain the plumbing. APIs, webhooks, CRM integrations, conversion event chains. Including the monitoring that tells us when something breaks instead of the client telling us.
- Run the analysis nobody assigned you. Cohort it, segment it, and bring us the thing we didn't know to ask about.
- Be the technical translator. Between what clients are experiencing and what the data says is happening.
Requirements
Required:
- Hands-on paid media experience with real spend you personally controlled — platform and vertical are open
- Genuine analytical ability: you can build the model, not just read the dashboard. Advanced spreadsheets minimum; SQL strongly preferred
- Technical enough to build an integration against an API without waiting for a developer
- Comfort with webhooks, CRM data structures, and conversion tracking
- The instinct to check the number again before you believe it
Strongly preferred:
- SQL, Python, or JavaScript
- GoHighLevel, or deep experience with any comparable CRM/automation platform
- Meta Conversions API, server-side tagging, or attribution tooling
- Experience in a business where lead quality was the product
What we're not screening for:
- Any specific industry background
- A degree
- Years of experience as a proxy for skill
Who this is right for
You're the person who opens the dashboard before you open email. You've been annoyed by a metric that didn't make sense and stayed up figuring out why. You'd rather build the alerting than get paged twice for the same failure. You can tell a client something they don't want to hear and be right about it. You're comfortable owning a number, being measured on it, and not hiding when it moves the wrong way.
Who this isn't right for
If you want a defined scope and clear tickets, this will frustrate you. The job is largely deciding what matters this week. If you've only ever run media inside someone else's structure, or only ever analyzed data someone else instrumented, the technical half of this will be a hard landing.
