Lead Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality engineering activities to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns.
• Support audits and inspections by internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies including FMEA, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and audit processes.
