Lead Puller

About the Role

This position's main functions are to provide in-depth technical support and training to the Pulling and Back to Stock personnel. Ensure the product is pulled efficiently and accurately to ensure that products are delivered on time and in a manner requested by our customers. Responsible for each associate on shift and ensuring quality and making sure the efficiency and accuracy standards are being met.

Responsibilities

• Bears responsibility for training of shift personnel
• Ensures proper operation of department equipment, requests maintenance assistance when necessary
• Distributes goals for key measurements and communicates to all associates on shift
• Provides leadership as well as regular informational meetings to the employees
• Develops people for further responsibilities
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; resolving problems
• Schedules employees to work in accordance with department productivity requirements
• Provides regular feedback for employees as it applies to the Standard Operating Procedures
• Acts as a team builder and supports the efficient operation of the department
• Assists the supervisor in establishing daily and monthly shift objectives in the areas of quality, productivity, and safety
• Makes sure garments are not open throughout the warehouse. Ensures product always remains in bags or boxes to maintain quality for our customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or one to two years related experience

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel

Schedule

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
