Lead Protection and Control Technician

About the role

Responsible for leading the protection and control of critical infrastructure systems. Conducts inspections, performs maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment to prevent failures and extend operational life.
• Develop and implement safety procedures to protect personnel and the public from hazards associated with the systems being protected.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate efforts in maintaining system integrity and reliability.
• Document all activities and findings in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in protective engineering or similar field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with industrial automation systems and software.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule
