Lead Protection and Control Technician

About the role

The Lead Protection and Control Technician is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols in high-risk environments. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of industrial safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and enforcement of safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits and provide feedback to management
• Train and mentor junior technicians in safety best practices
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate response teams
• Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial safety
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
