About the role

This role is responsible for project development, results responsibility, and customer satisfaction through the management of project-related activities and resources. Responsibilities include the planning and execution of department operations or focusing on the execution of technical discipline-related tasks within a project.

Responsibilities

  • Not critical projects or projects limited to products/devices.
  • Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect supervision and/or management of project resources for small and medium-sized projects (in terms of the GE company), which can only encompass devices, product suites, or non-critical projects.
  • Uses deep knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to implement guidelines/strategies.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and understands how their own area integrates with others; is aware of competition and factors that distinguish the company on the market.
  • Uses judgment and the ability to propose alternative solutions outside of predefined parameters to address complex manufacturing processes with technical diversity and/or dependent production cycles.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of their teams to make decisions.
  • Serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Can lead small projects with low-risk and resource requirements.
  • Explains information; develops skills to influence team members towards consensus on topics within the field.
  • Mediates expectations and can handle sensitive topics.

Requirements

This role requires advanced experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or an A-level with relevant experience).

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $95,700.00 and $159,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
