Lead Production Associate 2nd Shift

About the role

Base pay starts at $23.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Training will occur on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM).

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), hours may vary depending on operations
• Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours long depending on work orders and season
• Overtime and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities

• Comply with and enforce all company safety policies to ensure an accident-free facility, including identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues, and conducting accident investigations as required
• Provide direction to production team members to ensure key metrics are met accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform routine line checks several times daily to ensure efficiency and monitor machine, production, and personnel progress
• Interact with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Production Staff to achieve smooth production runs
• Ensure all components and paperwork for the next schedule are ready
• Operate a sit-down 10k+ forklift
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Shift Lead
• 3-5 years of experience leading a team of 4-10+ people
• 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• 5-8 years of experience on a sit-down 10k+ forklift
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with the ability to coach, train, and mentor associates at all levels
• Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as required
• Functional use of a tape measure
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
