About the role

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour, plus a $1 per hour shift differential. This is a 2nd shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with occasional Saturdays based on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations for assigned production lines or areas.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to team members in line with established manufacturing policies to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure work is performed with a consistent focus on safety, quality, and efficient production.
  • Comply with and enforce all company safety policies to maintain an accident-free facility, including identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues.
  • Direct production team members to meet key metrics accurately and on time.
  • Monitor line staffing and recommend daily adjustments to achieve production goals while controlling manpower costs.
  • Perform routine line checks several times daily to assess machine efficiency, production progress, and personnel performance.
  • Sustain manufacturing methods such as 5S, Problem Solving, Visual Management, and Line Organization.
  • Ensure compliance with CTQ processes and other quality measures.
  • Prepare all components and paperwork for the next schedule.
  • Collaborate with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Production Staff, and Warehouse operations to ensure smooth production runs.
  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to optimize equipment performance for expected output and product quality.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of lead and/or leadership experience.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to give and follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to ask questions when issues arise.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate respectfully with others.
  • Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
