About the role
Starting pay: $21.00 per hour, plus a $1 per hour shift differential. This is a 2nd shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with occasional Saturdays based on business need.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations for assigned production lines or areas.
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to team members in line with established manufacturing policies to meet production requirements.
- Ensure work is performed with a consistent focus on safety, quality, and efficient production.
- Comply with and enforce all company safety policies to maintain an accident-free facility, including identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues.
- Direct production team members to meet key metrics accurately and on time.
- Monitor line staffing and recommend daily adjustments to achieve production goals while controlling manpower costs.
- Perform routine line checks several times daily to assess machine efficiency, production progress, and personnel performance.
- Sustain manufacturing methods such as 5S, Problem Solving, Visual Management, and Line Organization.
- Ensure compliance with CTQ processes and other quality measures.
- Prepare all components and paperwork for the next schedule.
- Collaborate with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Production Staff, and Warehouse operations to ensure smooth production runs.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to optimize equipment performance for expected output and product quality.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of lead and/or leadership experience.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to give and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to ask questions when issues arise.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate respectfully with others.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and procedures.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work scheduled hours, including overtime as needed.
