About the role

The Lead Product Manager will oversee Reporting capabilities and ROI narratives within the MaintainX platform. This role will own a portfolio of products at various stages of maturity, including in-app Reporting and AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

  • Own our Reporting capabilities end-to-end, leveraging data, user research and competitive/market analysis to help shape the strategy for how our customers interact with and consume the data within MaintainX.
  • Evolve our reporting and analytics products from serving frontline managers to a broader enterprise audience, including ops leaders, finance, and EHS stakeholders.
  • Own the ROI narrative within our products, partnering with pre- and post-sales teams to understand how measuring customer progress against North Star metrics supports our GTM motion, and building products that support that story.
  • Execute on a mixture of large innovations and smaller quality-of-life improvements to supercharge our product and our sales team’s ability to close up-market accounts.
  • Partner with the sales team to directly help close large deals.
  • Inspire and motivate a team of designers and engineers to achieve ambitious outcomes, defining and measuring success using metrics.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management with meaningful time in a platform or infrastructure-adjacent capacity, ideally at a company serving Enterprise customers.
  • Proven experience building customer-facing analytics or reporting products, with enough understanding of the underlying data modeling and pipeline decisions to hold your own with data and infrastructure engineers.
  • Comfortable navigating cross-team data dependencies — able to define requirements upstream (data, infra, platform) while staying laser-focused on downstream customer outcomes.
  • Experience partnering directly with sales as a company moves upmarket from SMB to Enterprise, including getting into deals and translating complex product capabilities for senior buyers.
  • Track record of expanding a product's audience — from operational end-users to more senior or diverse stakeholders like operations leaders, finance, or EHS functions.
  • Can make smart scope trade-offs on dependency-heavy features, knowing when to ship something narrow and when to hold for a more complete solution.
  • Able to inspire and rally a team around a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap — and connect day-to-day work to specific KPIs and business goals.
  • Strong relationship-builder who can work credibly across all levels, from ICs to executives.
  • Strong pattern recognition — knows how to apply proven solutions to new contexts without over-engineering.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in product management, preferably in a platform or infrastructure context.
  • Experience in building analytics or reporting products for enterprise customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills

  • Data modeling and pipeline decisions.
  • Customer research and market analysis.
  • Product strategy and planning.
  • ROI storytelling and financial modeling.
  • Collaboration and partnership with sales teams.
  • Leadership and team management.
