Lead, Product Manager
About the role
L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Lead, Product Manager to join our growing Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missile Solutions Sector facility in Orange, Virginia. The Lead, Product Manager is a key product-centric leadership role that reports into site leadership and is also the liaison between the program office and the Camden facility.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to achieve a product line’s delivery, quality and cost goals. Essential Functions include managing all delivery, quality, schedule, and cost targets associated with a program's production, developing and executing the Production Integrated Product Team (P-IPT) business rhythm, and developing and maintaining production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Manage financial impacts and program budgets (EVM & Control Account Manager Duties), Safety, Security, PP&C, Global Supply Chain and IT
- Lead the Production IPT alignment for the operations site teams to successfully execute program requirements relative to delivery, quality, schedule, cost, and performance
- Interface with site leadership, program management, and customer to ensure the program needs and site plans are in alignment
- Develop recovery plans when issues arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions
- Business Travel up to 10% to L3Harris or customer sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant operations, program or product management experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related operations, program or product management experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 5+ years experience within manufacturing/production in the aerospace and defense industry
- Active US Secret Security Clearance
Skills
- Experience and familiarity with MS Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision
Pay
The salary range for this role in Virginia is $106,000 – $197,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
