Responsibilities
- Present and advocate for the portfolio to senior leaders to support strategic positioning, resourcing, and investment decisions.
- Command deep knowledge of the target market, analysis and simulation to support rigorous portfolio strategy decision making.
- Understand end-to-end Mission Critical networking systems and concepts of operation to identify new portfolio offerings.
- Drive IRAD strategy and investments to advance Mission Critical networks.
- Define full customer value chain requirements and work with development and operations teams to create differentiated solutions.
- Manage product line projects through checkpoint reviews, engineering alignment, and launch schedules to ensure on time delivery.
- Drive customer value and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Achieve target product metrics, set pricing, maintain catalog, and attain revenue and cost goals aligned with segment business cases.
- Deliver compelling presentations and digital content to stakeholders, users, and the market. Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, collateral, and thought leadership in support of the business.
- Develop sales tools and training to grow pipeline and revenue, support trade shows, customer demonstrations, and sales presentations.
- Evaluate and facilitate make-versus-buy alternatives to develop system offerings aligned with L3Harris core competencies.
- Contribute to the expansion of system offerings by recommending, demonstrating, and collaborating across the sector to integrate technologies from other L3Harris business and commercial sources.
- Work closely with Bids & Proposals on new business capture.
- Carefully coordinate across Sales, Program Management, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver tactical radio offerings from concept through production and sustainment.
- Provide domain expertise in tactical solutions across the full value chain—design, planning, implementation, configuration, testing—and ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in Mission Critical and/or Defense industries
- Travel: 25% or more, including international travel
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with sales, front-end of the business, direct customer engagement
- Familiarity with Mission Critical networks - radios, waveforms and applications, wireless networking.
- Familiarity with data analytics market trends and applications
- Global market experience
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Benefits
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $106,000 - $197,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
