Key Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and specifications for Sport Presentation across all assigned venue(s) within the designated LA28 cluster
- Represent Sport Presentation as a cluster-level leader within Event Testing and Games-time planning structures
- Lead day-of-event detailing to complement conceptual and operational planning at all assigned venues
- Compile sport-specific protocols required for the accurate and compliant presentation of all assigned Olympic and Paralympic sports, in accordance with International Federation (IF) regulations and LA28 standards
- Work closely with all Functional Area managers to ensure all Sport Presentation requirements are captured across logistics, technology, venue planning, transportation, accommodation, accreditation, protocol, and related areas
- In consultation with head of Functional Area, source and contract staff for all assigned venues
- Aid in the development and delivery of Games-time training programs and Sport Presentation workshops in advance of the Games
- Manage the operational structure and technical implementation plan for Sport Presentation across all assigned venues
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all Sport Presentation elements, including broadcast operations, audio, lighting, video production and programming, live entertainment, music, scoreboard operations, staging, wired and wireless communications, frequency coordination, and special effects
- Partner with International Federations to identify and implement enhancements to sport presentation within their respective disciplines
- Assist with special projects as required
Background and Requirements
- Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field (live events, sport management, business, marketing, or equivalent)
- Minimum 7+ years of international experience in Sport Presentation, live sporting events, or sports broadcasting/television production
- Olympic, Paralympic, or major multi-sport international event experience required
- Must have “show calling” and Venue Production experience in order to manage team of Venue Producers
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated strength in communication, team leadership, and stakeholder relationship management
- Prominent working relationships with International Federations, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC)
- Broad knowledge of the international sport system and elite-level competition structures across multiple disciplines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder, project-based environment with strict delivery timelines
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a high-stakes Games-time environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games
Expectations
- Ideal candidate will have proven experience in Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as knowledge of Sport Presentation and Victory Ceremonies as well as a background in sport.

Pay Range
The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $140,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
