Lead Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities

• Leads the technical execution of procurement acceleration strategies.
• Validates the accuracy of technical specifications to minimize acquisition delays.
• Coinvestigates procurement bottlenecks and leads the development of technical root-cause analyses for supply chain "choke points."
• Maintains vendor performance against aggressive timelines and validates the implementation of streamlined SOW templates.
• Executes strategic procurement expediting throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
• Translates program-level mission needs into actionable technical specifications and precise SOWs designed to bypass traditionally slow acquisition hurdles and reduce PALT.
• Proactively interfaces with mission partners to identify and resolve procurement risks before they impact regional readiness and ensures all "asymmetric" requirements meet audit standards.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline.
• 10+ years experience.
• Deep fluency in FAR/DFARS.
• Significant experience drafting complex SOWs and technical requirements.

Desired Qualifications

• PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience with DoD contract management software.
• Professional capacity for strategic process mapping and reducing PALT.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
