Responsibilities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers in alignment with Goddard School standardsCreate a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood developmentMonitor and document each child's developmental milestones and communicate progress to familiesBuild strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and caregivers through consistent and open communicationSupervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aidesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with health and safety regulationsParticipate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA or related field preferredMinimum 1-2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare settingKnowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children ages 0-3Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certificationStrong communication, organizational, and classroom management skillsWarm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood educationAbility to meet state licensing requirements for lead teacher qualifications in New York About Us: The Goddard School of Hastings on Hudson is a proud member of the nationally recognized Goddard School franchise, known for delivering premium play-based early childhood education rooted in research and love.
