Lead Pre-K Teacher

About the role

Are you a passionate, experienced early childhood educator ready to lead a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn? We’re looking for Lead Teachers who love working with young children and want to be part of a supportive, close‑knit school community where teachers are valued and growth is encouraged in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Our hiring process includes a resume review, a 30‑minute phone conversation with a recruiter, and an on‑site interview and classroom visit with the Center Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom using developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Communicate with families using our parent app
• Observe, assess, and support each child’s development
• Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness
• Participate in conferences and collaborate with leadership

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher (required)
• At least 1 year of classroom experience in a licensed childcare center

Qualifications

• Infant experience is a plus (for infant classrooms)
• Ability to pass required background checks

Pay

$18–$21 per hour, based on education and experience + $500 sign‑on bonus ($250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm (no nights, no weekends)
