Lead Pre Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

The Goddard School is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This position will focus on planning and implementing engaging lessons, fostering kindergarten readiness, creating a supportive classroom environment, and communicating regularly with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lessons using Goddard's Wonder of Learning® curriculum
• Foster kindergarten readiness through literacy, math, science, social-emotional learning, and problem-solving experiences
• Create a classroom environment that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning
• Document children's growth and learning through observations and portfolios
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities, milestones, and student progress
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership team members to ensure a high-quality educational experience

Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field, or current CDA
• Previous experience teaching Pre-K-aged children
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for early childhood education and child-centered learning

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:15 PM

Pay

$19 to $22 per hour

Start Date

Mid-August 2026 (to allow for onboarding and classroom preparation)
