The Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Children's Land of Vernon Hills is responsible for nurturing a vibrant and stimulating learning environment where preschool children can thrive. Responsibilities

• Develop and follow age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones and monitor their progress.
• Facilitate a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, and rest periods.
• Ensure the safety of children by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom environment to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and any concerns.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and cooperative working environment.
• Create and utilize educational materials to stimulate the children's senses and promote learning.
• Organize activities that encourage the children to explore their surroundings and develop their motor skills.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in early childhood education and care.

Qualifications

• Ace or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Two years of experience working with preschool children.
• Mandated Reporter certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Patience and a genuine love for working with young children.
